This month we are featuring some unique tracks from two very different Maine songwriters and performers!
Terry James Swett
Terry currently lives in North Bridgeton, Maine, but is seeking warmer climes. He writes down-to-earth, honest traditional county and folk classics about songwriting, pool playing, hard working people in everyday situations and relationships. He knows how to turn a phrase in an authentic, colloquial tone and voice. You can read about his flirtations with Nashville, Tennessee, in the story in this month's NEWS section.
Here are three of Terry's great songs; these are working tracks and demos, so the production is a pretty basic. The quality of the songwriting and the passion and sincerity in Terry's voice come through loud and clear!

Keith Dover
Keith Dover lives in Portland. He is a passionate, fully-involved performer - when he's on stage, you get the total Keith! His songs are hard-driving, brutally honest, and full of energy. They leave no room for doubt as to Keith's opinion about you, your life, or what you do with it.
These tracks were recorded live by Chris Jordan of HC Productions at The North Star Music Cafe, on April 10, 2008, at the Maine Songwriters Association Showcase.
Watch out! Explicit lyrics! Not recommended for children.
